Hi, I’m Rachel Mills, LPC, PMH-C.

I’m a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Michigan who specializes in trauma and has extensive training and experience in perinatal mental health (prenatal, postpartum, loss, and infertility). I’m the proud owner and counselor behind Harmony (Counseling andConsulting).

My approach to counseling is gentle yet straightforward: strengths-based, trauma-informed, and solution-focused. That means we’ll collaborate on a treatment plan that’s unique to your strengths, with practical, evidence-based steps to help you achieve your counseling goals. If you’d like, we can integrate Christ-centered interventions, pulling from my training in seminary, or EMDR therapy. As your counselor, you’ll find that I’m warm, encouraging, and calm.

Perinatal counseling is a deeply personal work for me. I’m a medical mom (NICU/PICU) and loss mom who has overcome PPA/P-PTSD. I know firsthand that the miraculous journey of parenting can be downright difficult. There is hope; I’m living proof. I’m a firm believer that with the right support, it’s never too late to find healing in our perinatal mental health journey.
